The Top 5 Bitcoin Billionaires

There are many people who have become bitcoin billionaires. Some of these individuals include CZ, Sam Bankman-Fried, Brian Armstrong and Chris Larsen. These individuals have created a new currency that has changed the world. Others have become rich through investment and have created companies. The Bitcoin billionaires’ list is growing.

CZ

CZ has become one of the most prominent figures in the cryptocurrency world, and has spent his time flipping burgers in his youth. His fortune is estimated to be at least $30 billion by the end of 2022. He owns 90 percent of the shares of Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, and he has ambitious plans for expansion. Forbes previously placed his stake at thirty percent, so his wealth has grown dramatically.

Sam Bankman-Fried

As one of the most famous Bitcoin billionaires, Bankman-Fried has been making waves with his FTX exchange. He has amassed a personal paper fortune of US$24 billion. He has backed his company with major blue-chip investors. In March, he held a meeting with Goldman Sachs’ David Solomon. He has also dined with Katy Perry and Tom Brady. Bankman-Fried has also been on TV, where he discusses bitcoin prices, regulatory issues, and the future of digital assets.

Brian Armstrong

Brian Armstrong is one of the Bitcoin billionaires, and he entered the cryptocurrency world back in 2012. He founded the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, which is now worth up to $10 billion. The company has become one of the most popular cryptocurrency companies to date. Armstrong currently occupies position #1990 on Forbes’ list of billionaires. His estimated net worth is $1 billion, which makes him one of the youngest bitcoin billionaires.

Chris Larsen

Chris Larsen is 62 years old and one of the bitcoin billionaires. He has amassed his wealth mainly through cryptocurrency, and is on track to become the first person to have 10 billion dollars linked to the cryptocurrency by 2022. Larsen studied business at San Francisco State University, and previously worked for Chevron in Indonesia, Brazil, and Ecuador. In 2012, he co-founded a company called OpenCoin and became its CEO and chairman.

Vitalik Buterin

If you’re a bitcoin fan, then you’re aware of Vitalik Buterin. He’s also the founder of the Ether cryptocurrency, which is now the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap. Buterin was recently recognized by the World Technology Award for his efforts in advancing blockchain technology. He aims to revolutionise the internet and create an enhanced version of Bitcoin.

Winklevoss brothers

If you’re looking for a fascinating story about the rise of the cryptocurrency bitcoin, you’ve probably heard of the Winklevoss brothers. The twins started their careers as bad guys on Facebook before becoming billionaires. Their success has been credited to the fact that they’ve created a new economy that has revolutionized the way we live our lives. However, you may be wondering how the twins got there. In this TEDxBeaconStreet, the brothers shared their story with the audience.

Changpeng Zhao

The fortune of Changpeng Zhao could be much higher, since the figure does not take into account the amount of his personal crypto holdings. Zhao was born in Jiangsu province, China, but later emigrated to Vancouver, Canada. He studied computer science and was inspired to invest in bitcoin when he was playing poker. In 2017, he founded a cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, focusing on high volume and low fees.
